Who can apply
The AHRH welcomes new prospectives on its work and our interns will come from many different backgrounds and disciplines – recent graduates to those wanting a sabbatical. We are looking for hard working, open-minded and collaborative people who want to change the
world. We will advertise specific opportunities in our teams as they
arise here on the internship page via a network of partner organizations, but we also keep a file of prospective candidates and we welcome ad-hoc enquiries. If we can’t find a suitable place for applicant straight off you will be added to mailing list and informed of upcoming opportunity as they arise.
When and where
The internship programme is ongoing globally. Internships usually last not more that two months and not more than three months. The start, duration and anticipated internship dates will be advertised with each opportunity. In Ghana majority of our interns will be based with us at our headquarters in Terrazzo Road, Odorkor Accra. However we do have a team of outreach workers in other regions of Ghana, and other African States. We have placement for local and global interns throughout Africa and it is worth approaching us if you are unable to relocate to Accra.
